So, we didn't even have the new truck for 24 hours and it's already been in its first accident. No we didn't hit a person. We didn't hit another car. We hit a house.
So here's the story:
We had this giant aquarium that we decided to give to a friend of ours. We drove it over to them in the new truck. As Joshua was backing into their driveway, he wanted to pull it right up the stairs so we could just pull it off the truck and into the house. The driveway had this awkward angle between the garage, the house, and this old-style lamp post. As Joshua was trying to negotiate the driveway, unable to see the directions we were giving him from the front porch, he slid into the house a little with the tailgate, which was down. It only scraped a little paint off. They said that was okay because they were going to repaint anyway. So I guess we saved the painters three seconds worth of scraping.
